Demi-Lune (half moon) Table

The design of this small table was primarily born form it’s function; the space that it was to occupy, to display the delicate vase from Blenko Hand Blown Glass, in West Virginia for more than a century, and to allow for smooth traffic flow without impediment.

The wood species were chosen for their inherent beauty and contrasting compatibility as well as the tone already established by other pieces in the room.

This particular one measures 30w x 32h x 12d but, as stated above, “Form Follows Function” (Frank Lloyd Wright), so based on the above criteria, the next commission, though possibly similar, will likely take on a different form.
