This kitchen accessory was built for a high-traffic area to replace its less efficient and far less attractive predecessor.
The demilune shape of the horizontal members was born from my desire to eliminate comers thereby enhancing traffic flow, but preserving functionality with ample storage space.

It is finished with Minwax “natural” oil stain to bring out the natural beauty of the wood and for durability, top coated with multiple coats of Sherwin-Williams water-based, non-toxic lacquer.
