The main body of this bowl is 9 layers of Hawaiian Koa in a “brickwork” pattern.  The base and rim are ambrosia maple with an accent piece of Gabon ebony inside and at the very bottom.  It is mounted on a 6″ lazy Susan device.  It measures 14 3/4 x 6 1/4.  The finish is a “natural” oil stain and is top coated with water based, moisture resistant Minwax “polycrylic”.
